FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES/UNUSUAL FIRE OR EXPLOSION HAZARDS:

Emergency equipment including self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing should be worn by fire

fighters. Use cold water spray to cool fire exposed containers to minimize risk of rupture. Material supports combustion.

During a fire, irritating and toxic gases may be generated by thermal decomposition or combustion.

5. HUMAN HEALTH DATA

PRIMARY ROUTES OF ENTRY: Inhalation, skin and eye contact.

HUMAN EFFECTS AND SYMPTOMS OF OVEREXPOSURE:

There are no known significant toxic effects observed for products of this chemical family. Certain polyester-based coatings

have been shown to cause eye irritation or slight skin irritation in animal tests. With good standard industrial hygiene

precautions, no adverse effects are expected as a result of the use of this product.

6.EMERGENCY & FIRST AID PROCEDURES

EYE CONTACT: If splashed into the eyes, flush with clean, lukewarm water (low pressure) for 15 minutes or until irritation

subsides. If irritation persists, call a physician.

SKIN CONTACT: In case of skin contact, remove any contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly with soap and water.

Wash contaminated clothing thoroughly before reuse.

INHALATION: If overcome by vapors, remove individual to fresh air. If breathing is irregular or has stopped, start

resuscitation and administer oxygen, if available. Get immediate medical attention.

INGESTION: If swallowed, give two glasses of water for dilution. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. NEVER GIVE ANYTHING

BY MOUTH TO AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON. Get immediate medical attention.

7. EMPLOYEE PROTECTION RECOMMENDATIONS

EYE PROTECTION: Use splash goggles or safety glasses.

SKIN PROTECTION: Use chemical resistant gloves to avoid prolonged or repeated skin contact.

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Exhaust ventilation recommended. A respirator may be recommended for certain applications; consider type of application and environmental concentrations. Take into account other materials being used

concurrently. Observe OSHA regulations for respirator use (29 CFR 1910.134).

OTHER PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT/ADDITIONAL PROTECTIVE MEASURES:

Use chemical-resistant apron or other impervious clothing, if needed, to avoid contaminating regular clothing which could result in prolonged or repeated skin contact. Clean, fresh running water should be easily accessible to the work area.

PERSONAL HYGIENE:

Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Remove contaminated clothing; launder or dry-clean before reuse. Remove contaminated shoes and thoroughly clean and dry before reuse. Cleanse skin thoroughly after contact, before breaks and meals, and at the end of the work period. Product is readily removed from skin by water-free hand cleaners followed by washing thoroughly with soap and water.

8. REACTIVITY

STABILITY:                               This material is stable.

HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION:                Will not occur.

INCOMPATIBILITY (MATERIALS TO AVOID):    Oxidizing materials such as chlorates, peroxides, nitrates, perchlorates and permanganates.

HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS:        By fire - CO and CO2 and other aliphatic fragments which have not been determined.

9. SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES

SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES:

Dike or impound material and control further spillage if feasible. Cover spill with absorbent material such as sawdust, sand, sweeping compound, vermiculite or diatomaceous earth; collect material for disposal. Wash spill area with hot water.

WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD:

Waste and container disposal must be in accordance with federal, state or local environmental control regulations. Empty containers must be handled with care due to product residue. DO NOT HEAT OR CUT EMPTY CONTAINERS WITH ELECTRIC OR GAS TORCH.
